To Be or Not To Be Anxious

Luke 12:25
“And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his lifespan? If then you cannot do even a little thing, why are you anxious about other matters?”

We tend to worry about so many things in life, sometimes things as simple as toilet paper and water, or as great as a diagnosis of a deadly disease.  We must remember God’s faithfulness in the past and the present, and put that faith in Him towards our future.

God’s word says. “Do not seek what you shall eat and what you shall drink, and do not keep on worrying” (Luke 12:29). For these are the things that those who don’t have a hope in Him do.  We are not to be that way but are to trust in God for all our needs.

Verse 31 of Chapter 12 says, “But seek for His Kingdom and these things shall be added to you.” So let’s seek Him first in all things and be blown away how all our needs will be met at His perfect timing.
